About me

My journey began as a registered nurse, where spent nine years in mental health nursing, working in various settings such as acute inpatient wards, forensic care, drug and alcohol detox, and therapeutic communities in New Zealand and Australia.

In 2013 I studied again to become a massage therapist and opened a private practice. It became evident at this time that there was a real need for addressing the underlying cause of many physical issues-trauma.

Over the years I practiced as a bodyworker I honed my technique for helping people acknowledge and release trauma, eventually leading me to further study to become a somatic therapist.

This is where you will find me now, working in a beautiful purpose built studio in Tomahawk, Dunedin.

I work with individuals, clinicians and groups.

Alongside Nel Fentiman, we co-facilitate our transformational Breathwork and Healing in Community group (ACC ISSC funded). We run these three times a year over a weekend, exploring breathwork and group therapy in a safe and supportive environment.
